These companies which produce the products and flight owe us a debt. When you use any tool it becomes a part of you. All of these companies operate at the expense of society and the world in general. The tools which become fixtures fixate us the most. There is an implied mode of intellectual stagnation when all information is immediately available at all times. That’s why people are so frivolous. Flight killed “travel”, technology is killing thought.

I should know better because I remember when, if I was out and wanted to meet up with a friend, I had to dump quarters into a payphone and hope that my friend was home or that someone else wasn’t on “the phone” at the time.
No, that’s just what you want him to say. Louis actually addressed the whole Dane Cook thing but for some reason it was taken off youtube. He said he had no problem with Dane and that people were blowing it out of proportion. The only thing remotely bad he said about Dane was at the end when the radio hosts forced him to say something bad which was “Fuck Dane Cook, he’s a cunt” but even that was in a joking manner. He doesn’t hate him as a comedian, person, or otherwise. If so, then prove it.

Everything louis says about Dane Cook is a jab in one way or another. He hates him as a comedian and he outright stole some of louis’s material. Granted it was probably on dane cook fans more than dane cook himself.
You realize they arnt complaining about technology, theyre commenting on the fact that so many people take the great advances weve had for granted.
